If you have requested a postal vote, your postal vote ballot pack should be arriving around 23rd May. If you requested a postal vote only recently, the ballot papers will be sent out around 31st May.
Brighton Kemptown is one of the most marginal seats in the country and your vote could decide who wins or loses.
Every Conservative vote at this election will be a vote for strong and stable leadership - and to strengthen Theresa May’s hand in Brexit negotiations to take this country successfully through Brexit and beyond.
The polls show this election race tightening and demonstrate to the country what’s at stake. Just 11 days after election day, the EU want to start Brexit negotiations with Britain. Who our country votes for must be up to the job and ready to go. Only Theresa May has a plan for Brexit and the ability to deliver. She needs every vote from every part of the country to give her the best hand at those negotiations just 11 days after we vote.
While we can debate policies, the real threat to the British people is getting Brexit wrong. Get that wrong and we get everything else wrong. Because all that underpins these negotiations - our economy, our finances, our position in the world - are threatened. From looking after our elderly to educating our children, everything depends on getting Brexit right.
And if anyone is thinking about lodging a protest vote because of Jeremy Corbyn’s scare campaigns, here’s what’s genuinely terrifying: a loss of just 6 seats will cost Theresa May’s government its majority and create a hung Parliament – which will deliver chaos. It means Jeremy Corbyn imposed as Prime Minister propped up by the Lib Dems and SNP who would be calling the shots on Brexit and tax rises in return for their support. That is the biggest risk of all.
So we must not take the risk in this election. For the strong, stable leadership our country needs through Brexit and beyond there is only one choice: Theresa May and her Conservative team.
MAKE YOUR VOTE COUNT – VOTE FOR ME, SIMON KIRBY, STANDING WITH THERESA MAY.
A vote for anyone else may mean Jeremy Corbyn in Downing Street.
Kind regards
Simon
