Simon Kirby MP

Simon Kirby, Member of Parliament for Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven has today written to the Secretary of State for Transport, the Rt Hon Chris Grayling MP asking him to meet with the Brighton Main Line 2 Project group.

Simon said, “Following a meeting last week with the BML2 Project group, I have written to the Transport Secretary asking him to consider holding a meeting with them in early January. I believe that this project could be a long-term solution to resolving some of the problems on the existing line.”

The project aims to provide improvements for passengers between Brighton and London as well as creating the conditions for regeneration, relieving housing pressure, increasing investment and creating employment from the South Coast to East and South-East London and beyond.
