Simon Kirby, Member of Parliament for Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven is delighted at the news that the planning application for the MUGA Project in Manor Road, East Brighton has been successful.
The application was for the creation of multi-use games area (MUGA) and grass pitch on existing tarmac tennis courts including creation of floodlights, fencing, equipment storage and other associated works.
The trustees are now able to instruct the construction company to go ahead and start building the Multi Use Games Area and 3G sport pitches.
Simon said,
“This is great news for local residents in Brighton Kemptown & Peacehaven. Due to the persistence and voluntary personal commitment of the Manor Road Gym’s trustees over the last 11 years, this state-of-the-art sporting facility in East Brighton is finally going to become a reality.”
“I look forward to seeing these facilities up and running very soon.”
