I recognise the need for more housing but, together with local residents, am concerned about the impact the development for Lower Hoddern Farm would have on local infrastructure issues, particularly access to school places, GP surgeries and the impact on the local roads.
The A259 is already very busy and there are traffic jams for miles during the peak hours.
I have been contacted by many local residents in Peacehaven about the need to resolve infrastructure problems first before considering new developments and raise their concerns frequently with all our local Councils who are responsible for these planning decisions.
I have already written to the Chief Executive of Lewes District Council objecting to the Hoddern Farm application.
